Bishkek, Dec. 10, 2021 . / Kabar /. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov held a regular meeting of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVId-19, the press service of the Cabinet said Friday.
According to the Health Ministry of the republic, the epidemiological situation in the country is stable.
During the meeting, the current epidemiological situation was considered, as well as issues related to vaccination of citizens.
Thus, the highest rates of vaccination in recent weeks were observed in Issyk-Kul Oblast.
In addition, the participants discussed the measures taken to prevent the import and spread of the "omicron" strain. Edil Baisalov once again reminded members of the HQ of the need to develop an effective algorithm of action to prevent the rapid spread of the new strain.
The deputy chairman noted the Cabinet is against the closure of state borders, so it is necessary to strengthen measures to prevent the import and spread of the new strain COVID-19.
Thus, an electronic form of registration of data of all persons staying in the republic will be introduced in the coming days.
Besides, the Ministry of Health was instructed to consider reducing the period of PCR-testing for those crossing the state border from 72 hours to 48 hours before arrival.
