Kyrgyzstan national football team again in top 100 of FIFA ranking

Bishkek, April 5, 2024. / Kabar/. The Kyrgyz national football team has regained its place in the top 100 of the FIFA ranking.

The updated list was published on Thursday on the website of the International Football Federation.

In the previous edition of the ranking, the domestic team was in 104th place. Then, after an unsuccessful performance at the Asian Cup, she immediately shifted six positions (from 98th to 104th place).

The Akshumkar players were able to redeem themselves thanks to two victories over the Chinese Taipei team as part of the qualification for the 2026 World Cup. Now the team has 1213.6 points, and is in 100th place.

In the AFC zone, the Kyrgyz team took 17th place - moving up one line.
