Bishkek, Feb.21, 2020. /Kabar/. In 2020, Kyrgyzstan will not export electricity to neighbouring countries, Chairman of the Board of the National Energy Holding of the country Aitmamat Nazarov told reporters.
He explained this is due to the coming season of water shortage in the country.
"On the contrary, it's planned to import electricity. At the moment, talks are underway, there are some agreements, but it's not finally decided where the import of electricity will come from," said Nazarov.
