Kyrgyzstan: Number of new recoveries from COVID-19 equals to fresh cases identified

Bishkek, Jan. 11, 2021. /Kabar/. In the past day, 107 more patients with previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 coronavirus infection have cured in Kyrgyzstan, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said on Monday.

As of today, a total of 78,003 Kyrgyzstanis have recovered from the disease.

The country reported 82,380 cases of coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic.

The HQ also said that 2 new virus-related deaths were registered: one in Bishkek city and one in Issyk-Kul Oblast; coronavirus claimed lives of 1,371 people so far.

Currently, 839 coronavirus patients are receiving treatment in hospitals of Kyrgyzstan, while 1,241 people are receiving treatment at home.

Besides, 569 PCR tests were carried out in the past day.
