Bishkek, June 22, 2023. / Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan is interested in developing cooperation with Germany in the trade, economic and technological fields, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov told at extended talks with visiting German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
“The country has significant potential in the field of renewable energy sources. The developments and technologies of Germany in this area are of great interest for the Kyrgyz side. The country is interested in German technologies for the production of green hydrogen, which is the fuel of the future. Kyrgyzstan, having large reserves of water resources and with advanced German technologies, could produce green hydrogen,” Zhaparov said.
The president of Kyrgyzstan also stressed that there are examples of the successful functioning of German business in Kyrgyzstan in the country and the country's leadership intends to continue to support entrepreneurs in every possible way.
