Bishkek, May 30, 2018 /Kabar/ . Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the State of Qatar Nuran Niyazaliev met with chairman of the Qatari Tourism Board Hasan Al-Ibrahim, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the conversation, the issues of Qatar's participation in the Third World Nomad Games and development of cooperation between the two countries in the sphere of tourism were discussed. In particular, Niyazaliev told about the history, mission and goals of the forthcoming World Nomad Games and invited the Qatar Tourism Board to the International Ethnocultural Festival "The Universe of Nomads".
In addition, he held a presentation of the tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan and proposed joint projects within the framework of the Memorandum on cooperation in the field of tourism, signed between the two countries in 2014.
In this regard, Niyazaliev called for an exchange of experience in attracting tourists, as well as consider a proposal to simplify the visa regime for citizens of Kyrgyzstan wishing to visit Qatar.
