Bishkek, Jan. 24, 2019. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov signed a decree on the opening of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in the city of Novosibirsk of Russia, the Kyrgyz President’s press service reported.
According to the Decree, the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Novosibirsk city of the Russian Federation was established with a consular district that includes the territories of the Republic of Altai, Altai Krai, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Omsk and Tomsk regions of the Russian Federation. Thus, the above-mentioned territories were excluded from the consular district of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in the city of Yekaterinburg.
The Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Novosibirsk has been established to enhance and develop comprehensive relations of the Kyrgyz Republic with the regions of the Russian Federation, expand economic and cultural cooperation, and also provide consular services to citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation, the report said.
