Kyrgyzstan opens first plant for production of feed for trout

Bishkek, June 13, 2023. / Kabar /. The first plant for the production of feed for trout has opened in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund reported.

The productivity of the plant reaches 30 tons per day. The produced volume will be enough to cover 50% of the needs of domestic fish farms in feed.

“We hope that gradually the company will not only fully cover the entire domestic market, but also export its products to the EAEU countries,” said Artem Novikov, Chairman of the Board of the Fund.

To implement the project, the fund allocated USD 1.3 million to the domestic company Salih LTD, which is 70% of the invested funds. The plant is equipped with the latest equipment and meets all international standards.
