Bishkek, Aug. 4, 2021. / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstan's Minister of Education and Science Bolotbek Kupeshev met on Tuesday with Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Sardar Azhar Tariq Khan.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Education of Kyrgyzstan Nurlan Omurov and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Pakistan Tariq Ali.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of Kyrgyz-Pakistani cooperation in the field of education and science, and outlined further plans for their strengthening.
The main topic of the meeting was the issue related to the training of Pakistani citizens in medical universities in Kyrgyzstan.
Bolotbek Kupeshev provided detailed information about the work carried out by the ministry to improve the quality of educational services provided by medical universities of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In order to expand cooperation in education and science, particularly in the field of medical education, the parties agreed to establish cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, Pakistan Medical Commission by signing protocols on cooperation.
