Bishkek, Feb. 21, 2021 / Kabar /. Minister of Education of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Beishenaliev visited Pakistan.
During the working visit Almazbek Beishenaliev met with President of the Medical Commission of Pakistan, Mr. Arshad Taqi. As a result of the negotiations, the issue of medical universities in Kyrgyzstan was resolved.
Medical universities in Kyrgyzstan are included in Lists A, B and C of the Pakistan Medical Commission.
Pakistani citizens who graduated from the above listed universities will have unhindered access to the Medical Commission exams.
Explanations for the lists:
• A - international, independently accredited educational institutions;
• B - educational institutions that have passed independent accreditation, but have not passed international accreditation;
• C - non-accredited and new medical schools.
Medical schools that have recently opened will be included in a separate list at the request of the minister.
Pakistani citizens can freely apply to all educational institutions listed in the above lists.
At the same time, issues arising between the two sides due to differences in the curriculum were resolved comprehensively in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In addition, during his visit to Pakistan, Almazbek Beishenaliev met with chaorperson of the Higher Education Commission Tariq Banuri. The sides agreed to establish the Kyrgyz-Pakistani Science Foundation.
Also, Almazbek Beishenaliev and Minister of Federal Education and Vocational Training Shafqat Mahmood agreed to promote academic mobility between the universities of Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan.
During the meeting, the sides also agreed to exchange experience in the field of education.
It is planned to exchange experience with the Pakistani side on the development of state standards for vocational education.
Besides, Kyrgyzstan will share its experience in online education with Pakistan.
