Bishkek, Oct. 4, 2023. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan is participating in the international tourism exhibition in Paris IFTM Top Reza, the press service of the Tourism Development Support Fund reported.
The site is one of the largest in Europe. The national exhibition stand is brightly decorated in the style of the Kyrgyz yurt.
From the very first hours of the opening of the exhibition, the original design aroused increased interest not only among French travel companies, but also among journalists. Media representatives were interested in the nomadic customs of the Kyrgyz, as well as the unusual housing design for a European, the foundation noted.
The opening of the exhibition was attended by Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to France Sadyk Sher-Niyaz and President of the Tourism Development Support Fund Abylkasym Sherniyazov.
“We are pleased to take part in this major exhibition. Six domestic travel companies came to France together with the fund’s employees; they will look for tourists on the spot and promote not only their tour packages, but also Kyrgyzstan,” Sher-Niyaz noted.
On the very first day of the exhibition, the vice-president of the foundation, Maksat Usubaliev, presented the possibilities of the Kyrgyz Republic as a tourist destination. Foreign tour operators and exhibition guests were told about the country's attractions, conditions for travelers and interesting tours.
The tourism exhibition in Paris has been held since 1978, and more than 30 thousand people take part in it every year. It covers all areas of tourism: business, leisure, group tourism and MICE. IFTM Top Reza will take place over three days.
