She noted that the peak lasted on Jan.10-23, when about 800 cases were detected per day.
"Now about 200-230 new cases are being registered a day in last three or four days. This time, number of people who had the disease in a mild form was 65-69%. At this time, nearly most regions of the country are in the green zone," the specialist said.
Otorbayeva noted that sampling has shown that the Omicron strain predominates in the country.
She also urged citizens to comply with epidemiological rules because infectious diseases - influenza and acute respiratory viral infections, which can also lead to complications have not been cancelled.
"Citizens should be vaccinated, wear masks in public places and wash their hands more often," Otorbayeva advised.
