Bishkek, Dec.30, 2019. /Kabar/. The Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic submits for public discussion a draft government decision “On the Approval of the Program on Development of Culture Sphere till 2030.”
According to the document, this government's draft decision is designed to implement the National Sustainable Development Strategy for 2018-2040, approved by the Presidential decree of Oct.31, 2018, in accordance with prime minister's instruction of Oct. 8, 2019.
The goal of the program is to create institutional and innovative conditions for a breakthrough and sustainable development of the cultural sphere for the benefit of the people and the country.
The implementation of the Program on Cultural Development of the country will be based on the approaches, outlined in the long-term development vectors of the National Development Strategy for 2018-2040 and the “Unity. Trust. Creation” Development Program of Kyrgyzstan for 2018-2022. The Culture Sector Development Program is seen as a cross-sectoral phenomenon, covering all activities affecting cultural development.
The Program provides for the implementation of a set of measures and tasks that will result in the dynamic development of the cultural sector as a whole and the creation of an institutional framework for identifying and supporting gifted talents and creative breakthroughs.
Special attention will be paid to the development of rural culture infrastructure, the creation of children's innovative cultural and educational centers, the opening of new concert stages, modern libraries and museums equipped with the relevant technology.
