Bishkek, May 3, 2023. / Kabar /. Deputy Minister of Finance of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Tatikov is taking part in the 56th annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Incheon city of South Korea.
The Finance Ministry said that a discussion was held on the possibility of signing an Agreement with the Export-Import Bank of the Republic of Korea on financing the Functional improvement of the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital project in the amount of USD 27 million.
In addition, the issue of the development of Public Private Partnership (PPP) in Kyrgyzstan was raised.
The Kyrgyz delegation invited the bank's leaders to take part in the Second International Conference on PPP to be held in September this year as honored guests.
The Annual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is an important event of the bank, which is held once a year and brings together high-ranking representatives of the bank's participants, as well as experts and academics on development issues in the Asian region.
These meetings usually discuss key issues of the economic and social development of the Asian region, including major infrastructure projects, new approaches to the development of financial markets and other topical issues.
The ADB Annual Meeting is also a platform for establishing new business contacts, exchanging experience and defining the bank's strategic priorities in the near future.
The Governor from the Kyrgyz Republic in the Asian Development Bank is the Ministry of Finance, the Alternative Governor is the Ministry of Economy and Commerce.
