Kyrgyzstan plans to build stadium for 30 thsd spectators in its capital city

Bishkek, Dec. 11, 2021. / Kabar /. We plan to build a stadium in the southern part of the capital city, designed for at least 30,000 spectators, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov said on Friday speaking at the solemn event on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Kyrgyz football.

In his speech, the head of state noted that there are problems in the current football field of Kyrgyzstan. “Poor infrastructure is the biggest problem for all kinds of sports,” he said.

The president noted that, the construction of new stadiums throughout the country will give a great impetus to the development of football in the regions. “God willing, let's start with Bishkek. We plan to build a stadium in the area of ​​Sovetskaya - Yuzhnaya Magistral, designed for at least 30,000 spectators. We will not ask for help, we build it using our own budgetary funds,” Sadyr Zhaparov promised.
