Bishkek, Feb.4, 2020. /Kabar/. A single environmental database is planned to be created in Kyrgyzstan, Chairwoman of the Environmental Solutions Institute Public Foundation Natalya Slepchenko said during the Fund’s presentation.
Chairwoman Slepchenko said creation of database of environmental and anthropometric data, formed in real time, are scheduled for 2020.
"The database is designed to analyze, model and build forecasts of the environmental situation in Kyrgyzstan. The data will be generated with the help of public sources, as well as institutions, state and non-state structures," she added.
The chairwoman noted the data will be available for all research organizations, government agencies and any interested parties.
"This base will also monitor the quality of air, surface water, drinking water, noise pollution and regular measurements of radiation pollution throughout Kyrgyzstan," the Foundation chairwoman added.
The Environmental Solutions Institute Public Foundation is a new organization that forms an information environmental agenda in Kyrgyzstan.
The main purpose of the Fund is to develop practical solutions to improve the environment, their implementation together with the expert eco-community, local and state authorities, as well as all organizations, interested in the conservation of unique nature and the restoration of a favorable environment in Kyrgyzstan.
