Bishkek, Aug. 1, 2022 ./Kabar/. The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan plans to vaccinate 4 million citizens (42% of the population) with the COVID-19 vaccine, Gulbara Ishenapysova, the director of the Republican Immunoprophylaxis Center told on the air of Birinchi Radio.
She noted that vaccination is still one of the best ways to be protected from the serious course of the disease.
"As of today, the epidemiological situation in the country is stable, but no one is immune to another outbreak of the disease. In this regard, I urge people to be vaccinated," Ishenapysova said.
In addition, the head of the Republican Immunoprophylaxis Center reminded that in August 2021, more than 25 thousand citizens were daily vaccinated during the mass vaccination campaign.
