Bishkek, Feb.10, 2020. /Kabar/. Project of electronic system for monitoring educational processes in a pilot mode will soon be implemented in 10 schools of Kyrgyzstan.
The project will make it possible above all to improve the safety of children in educational institutions.
The Kyrgyz capital city of Bishkek hosted the Memorandum of Cooperation signing event.
The document was signed between the Education Ministry of the country and sponsors-- Alfa Telecom CJSC (Megacom TM).
The "Smart School" project will consist of several directions:
- Access control management system. It will allow seeing when a child enters and exits the school by using a card, chip or bracelet; identification and verification by face. Parents will also be notified, including when their child is late or has run away from school.
- Non-cash meal payments. With the same cards and chips, schoolchildren can pay for lunches in canteens.
- An electronic diary (magazine and library) - provides access to children's assessments in real time, tracking their homework and lesson schedule.
- Remote learning in the form of a webinar. Pupils will be able to take the test online, watch video lessons remotely.
In general, all information will be available in the student's personal profile.
Head of Megacom Akylbek Jamangulov assured that in case of successful implementation of the project they are ready to take on other schools as well.
"Big companies should not chase money only. Business should not forget about social responsibility," he urged.
