Bishkek, Oct. 2, 2024. /Kabar/. A demonstration center has been opened on the basis of Kyrgyz Industry open joint stock company aimed at implementation of small projects to increase the socio-economic potential of the regions of Kyrgyzstan.
The Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan said that the demonstration center provides practical instructions to entrepreneurs, farmers, and local governments on opening small and medium-sized enterprises, processing and production of products.
At the event, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev noted the need to open in each district small processing agricultural enterprises adapted to the regions. In his speech, he mentioned the issue of wool processing as an example.
“We have shown a small wool processing production, convenient for these regions, and the price of which is less than KGS 2 million. If we build 60 wool processing plants in regions, we will solve the problem with wool. And if we put a machine for skinning animals in each village government, which costs only KGS 120 thousand, we will solve the problem with hides,” he emphasized.
The center shows successful examples of small business projects, discusses their development, and promotes attraction of international investments.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan and the Social Partnership Fund for Regional Development.
