Bishkek, April 25, 2022 . / Kabar /. It is planned to resume the operation of Karakol, Naryn, Kazarman and Talas airports, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov told in an exclusive interview with Kabar News Agency.
The president noted that now it is planned to revive domestic airports.
"Thus, it is planned to resume the activity of Karakol, Naryn, Kazarman and Talas airports. In a word, we will resume domestic flights. In the near future, I will lay a capsule for the construction of a new air terminal building at Karakol airport," Zhaparov said.
The Kyrgyz leader also noted that last year Manas International Airport received a net profit of KGS 4 billion 4 million. Previously, the highest net profit was in 2019 – KGS 1 billion 800 million.
"We eliminated corruption there, and this year the profit is KGS 4 billion. With the same money, we started repairing airports," Zhaparov added.
