Bishkek, July 3, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan has cancelled the races and bicycle races planned for this year, Nomad Sport, the organizer of the sporting events said.

Information concerning cancellation of all races was placed on the Instagram page of the organizers.

"We planned marathons, bicycle races and ultramarathons for this year. We were going to hold some of them after the state of emergency was lifted in the country, in August and September. But as you see, holding large-scale races can directly contribute to the spread of the virus. It's more important than ever to stay home as much as possible and observe all security measures even after the situation improves, because without a vaccine, the danger of the virus will still exist," they wrote.

Such events as Spring Break, Bakai Bank Jaz Demi, Snow Leopard Run, Toyboss Night Run, RSK Bank Issyk Kul Marathon are officially postponed to 2021.

The Issyk-Kul Swim Challenge that excludes direct contact with other participants will take place only.
