Bishkek, Feb. 24, 2021. / Kabar /. At a briefing held on Wednesday at the Government House, Kyrgyzstan’s Deputy Minister of Health and Social Development Nurbolot Usenbaev provided information on a number of beds available in hospitals of the country in case of worsening epidemiological situation related to COVID-19 coronavirus infection.
Usenbayev noted there are 1 thousand 819 beds across the country for patients with coronavirus.
"Of these, 409 are occupied. The rest are all available. These beds are prepared in case the epidemiological situation in the country related to the spread of COVID-19 worsens," he said.
As of today, the country’s tally of COVID-19 infections has reached 86,025.
Of these, 82,938 have cured. The death toll from coronavirus stands at 1,460.
379 patients are being treated in hospitals, and 309 patients are receiving treatment at home.
