Kyrgyzstan prepares health organizations for winter

Bishkek, Oct. 13, 2020. /Kabar/. The country's health-care organizations are 75% supplied with coal, Head of the Financial Policy Department of Kyrgyzstan’s Health Ministry Mukhtarbek Baimurzayev said.

According to him, out of 5,192 medical institutions, 64 are connected to thermal power plant, 3,357 buildings are heated with electricity, coal is used for 1 thousand 761 objects. Heating system in 10 buildings is converted to gas.

"This year health-care organizations of the country will need almost 17.5 thousand tons of coal, for the purchase of which KGS 62.8 thousand will be spent. To date, about 10.5 tons of coal have been delivered to medical organizations. More precisely, it is 75% secured," said Baimurzayev.
