Bishkek, Dec. 4, 2024. /Kabar/. Turkiye’s Istanbul hosted on Nov. 27-30 the 10th World Halal Summit entitled “A Decade of Halal Success: Uniting Vision, Shaping the Future”, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The event was held in cooperation with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Institute of Standardization and Metrology of Islamic Countries, Islamic Trade Development Center, under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Turkey and in cooperation with the Turkish Discover Events company.
Halal EXPO 2024 was organized within the framework of the event, which is the largest platform for international trade in food products, providing opportunities for representatives of the halal sector to promote their services and products, as well as to increase trade and attract investment in this sector.
The Kyrgyz side was presented by products of domestic producers: Kainar Group, Salih LTD LLC, Shoro CJSC, Yashar Group LLC, Adal Azyk (Toiboss) LLC, Dary Tien-Shan LLC, etc.
“The purpose of participation in this event was to strengthen trade and economic, scientific and technical, social and cultural ties of the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, as well as to create conditions for the production and export of competitive agricultural products and products of the processing industry in domestic and foreign markets in accordance with international standards and requirements for halal products,” the report said.
