Kyrgyzstan presents project seeking to provide housing to 7,500 families in 5 years

Bishkek, Feb. 10, 2021 / Kabar /. Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulukbek Maripov took part in a working meeting, at which the draft concept of the Program of the Kyrgyz Government "My House 2021-2026" developed by the Economy Ministry of the republic together with the State Mortgage Company OJSC was presented.

The draft program seeks to provide at least 7,500 families with housing for the period from 2021 to 2026, finance the purchase and construction of housing with a total area of not less than 150,000 square meters, attract investments totaling at least KGS 5 billion, issue and place mortgage securities worth at least KGS 1 billion.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to approve the draft concept of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic "My House 2021-2026" Program.

In the near future, the Government of the republic will take an appropriate decision to approve the draft Program of the Government "My House 2021-2026".

Prime Minister Maripov instructed the relevant state bodies to work on the issue of reducing the interest rate on public mortgages together with partner banks and donors.
