Kyrgyzstan produced 1.7M tons of milk since beginning of year

Bishkek, Dec. 18, 2024 . / Kabar / . In the period from January to November this year, 1 million 692.5 thousand tons of milk was produced in the republic, the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan said.

Thus, the volume of milk produced since the beginning of the year is 38 thousand 208 tons or 2.4% more compared to the same period last year.

"The growth of milk production in the country was due to an increase in the number of milking cows by 16.5 thousand heads compared to last year, as well as an increase in their productivity," the report said.
