Bishkek, Jan. 23, 2024 /Kabar/. Fisheries in Kyrgyzstan produced 33.6 thousand tons of marketable fish in 2023, Deputy Director of the Fisheries Department of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurzamat Akparaly uulu told at a press conference at Kabar Agency.
According to him, the export of fish and fish products amounted to 5 thousand 556 tons.
In total there are 281 fisheries in the republic, in Chui region - 204, in Issyk-Kul region - 37, in Jalal-Abad region - 17, in Talas region - 9, in Naryn region - 10, in Osh region - 4.
