Bishkek, Nov. 12, 2021 / Kabar /. "Kyrgyzstan offers the Turkic world and the international community the idea of creating a platform "Central Asia - Territory of the Peace." President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov said speaking at the Turkic Council Summit in Istanbul.
The head of state noted that at present the global geopolitical situation remains tense. “This is primarily due to the events of recent months in Afghanistan. This is a concern in Central Asia. Of course, we want all issues to be resolved peacefully, through diplomatic dialogue. Because if the situation in Afghanistan deteriorates, it will directly affect the countries of Central Asia. There is no greater treasure for us than peace,” he said.
Taking into account the current situation, President Sadyr Zhaparov said that Kyrgyzstan offers the Turkic world and the international community as a whole the idea of creating a platform "Central Asia - Territory of the Peace".
He stressed that Central Asia is the world leader in demographic development. “Since time immemorial, our ancestors have valued the principle of living in peace and harmony, tolerance. We want to see our region as a territory of peace, brotherhood and good neighborliness. The peoples of Central Asia have long loved peace and appreciated the principles of coexistence,” Sadyr Zhaparov explained.
The head of state recalled that Kyrgyzstan is an inseparable part of the Turkic world. He announced the intention of Kyrgyzstan to continue to take an active part in relations and brotherhood of the Turkic world.
Sadyr Zhaparov noted that the Kyrgyz Republic will make a significant contribution to the development of integration processes in the Turkic states.
“We have one story and one language, we will continue to be together and united, following the advice left by our ancestors,” he concluded.
