Bishkek, Dec. 10, 2024. /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev met with British Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Nicholas Bowler.
During the meeting the sides discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-British relations, plans for their realization and development in 2025.
Bakyt Torobaev drew the interlocutor's attention to further enhancement of cooperation, especially in the field of agriculture. For example, he proposed to consider close cooperation in the areas of water resources, animal husbandry, processing and storage of agricultural products, exports, training of specialists, exchange of experience.
In turn, British Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Nicholas Bowler confirmed the readiness to cooperate with the Kyrgyz side in various areas, especially he expressed interest in investing in projects in the field of renewable energy.
