Kyrgyzstan purchases 140 fire engines from China and Russia

Bishkek, Dec. 26, 2022. /Kabar/. 85 fire engines arrived in Kyrgyzstan from China, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic Urmatbek Shamyrkanov told during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.

He said that a total of 100 fire engines have been purchased from China.

“To date, 85 of them have arrived. We had a long-standing problem with the ladder (AKP-50), among the 15 cars that go, there are three such ladders 50 meters high. Also, 10 vehicles will be used for rescue operations. They will be equipped with everything necessary, there are overalls and gas masks inside the vehicles,” Shamyrkanov said.

He noted that 40 fire-fighting vehicles were purchased from Russia, 10 of them have already arrived. “In February next year, their delivery will completely end,” he added.
