Bishkek, Dec. 24, 2021. / Kabar /. The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan purchased 192 ambulances and about 20 reanimation vehicles in 2020 and 2021, Deputy Health Minister Jalalidin Rakhmatullaev told during a briefing in Bishkek.
He said that in addition to cars, many other necessary equipment were also purchased.
“Thus, today there are 689 ambulances in the ambulance database. We need to update it. Over the years, about 130 machines have fallen into disrepair. However, through the Asian Development Bank, we will purchase additional 62 vehicles. This helps to timely respond to emergency calls,” the deputy minister said.
