Bishkek, Jan. 18, 2019. /Kabar/. A meeting of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to the State of Qatar Nuran Niyazaliyev and Director of the Government Communications Office of the State of Qatar Sheikh Saif bin Ahmed Al Thani took place in Doha.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that during the meeting, Niyazaliyev spoke about the activities of the media in the republic, measures to strengthen freedom of speech and the press, and also offered to consider the possibility of organizing an introductory visit of representatives of the largest Kyrgyz media to Qatar.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on the further development of cooperation in the field of mass media and communication technologies.
