Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait debate organization of mutual high-level visits

Bishkek, Aug. 19, 2021. / Kabar /. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the State of Kuwait Azamat Karagulov met with Ali Sulaiman Alsaeed, the Director of the Asia Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said.

Alsaeed congratulated Karagulov on assumption of office and wished him success in work.

In turn, the ambassador thanked his interlocutor and told about the firm determination of the republic's leadership to bring bilateral cooperation to a higher quality level. The sides agreed on the need to organize reciprocal visits at high and highest levels.

During the meeting, the sides also focused on the tasks of organizing visits of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov to the State of Kuwait and Kuwaiti foreign minister to Kyrgyzstan, as well as holding inter-ministerial political consultations on topical issues of international and regional agenda.

In conclusion, Karagulov and Alsaeed expressed their satisfaction with the fact that the launch of direct air communication between Kyrgyzstan and Kuwait in July 2021 allowed to increase the tourist flow from the Gulf countries to the Kyrgyz Republic and made it possible to establish export of Kyrgyz products to the Kuwaiti market.
