Bishkek, Jan. 18, 2018 / Kabar/. Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the State of Qatar Nuran Niyazaliyev met in Doha with Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Director General of Public Security of the State of Qatar, General Saad Bin Jassim Al Khulaifi, the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of further strengthening of the Kyrgyz-Qatar relations, in particular, the development of cooperation between law enforcement agencies of the two countries. The sides noted the importance of implementing the agreements reached during the visit of the Interior Minister of Kyrgyzstan to Doha in 2016 and the visit of the delegation of the Interior Ministry of the State of Qatar to Bishkek in 2017.
Following the results of the meeting, an agreement was reached to hold a training on countering cybercrime, as well as participation of the Kyrgyz delegation in the international law enforcement exhibition in Doha in October 2018.
At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Niyazaliyev briefed Saad Bin Jassim Al Khulaifi about the creative work and celebration of the 90th anniversary of great Kyrgyz writer Chyngyz Aitmatov and gave him one of the novels of Aitmatov in Arabic.
