Bishkek, July 13, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan ranked the second among the Central Asian countries in terms of the development of e-government, the press service of the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to the results of UN study on the level of development of e-government, Kyrgyzstan took the second place among the states of the Central Asian region. In the UN Global E-Government Development Index, Kyrgyzstan ranked 83rd out of 193 countries participating in the UN. This is the best indicator of the republic over the past 10 years in terms of the development of e-government. Kyrgyzstan has exceeded by 4 positions the target indicator of the country's digitalization level, fixed for 2020 in the Digital Transformation Concept “Sanarip Kyrgyzstan 2019-2023”.
A study of the dynamics of e-government development is carried out by the UN once every two years. The results of a UN study on the E-Government Development Index were published on July 10.
