Kyrgyzstan ranks 3rd in team competition of World Wrestling Championship

Bishkek, Sept. 25, 2023. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan took the third place in the team competition at the World Wrestling Championship in Belgrade, Serbia.

The athletes brought 5 medals to the country's treasury.

Aisuluu Tynybekova, Akzhol Makhmudov, Zholaman Sharshenbekov won gold medals, Aiperi Medet kyzy took silver, Taiyrbek Zhumashbek uulu took bronze.

At the moment, Kyrgyzstan has 5 licenses for the Olympics in Paris - Aiperi Medet kyzy and Aisulu Tynybekova (freestyle wrestling), Denis Petrashov (swimming), Akzhol Makhmudov and Zholaman Sharshenbekov (Greco-Roman wrestling).
