Bishkek, March 24, 2022 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan ranked 64th in the world ranking of happy countries, according to the World Happiness Report.
The rating was based on averages from a global survey that was conducted over a three-year period from 2019-2021. The rating includes 146 states of the world. According to the rating, Finland is the happiest country, followed by Denmark and Iceland. The fourth place is occupied by Switzerland, the Netherlands is in the top five of the happiest countries. Luxembourg is sixth, Sweden is seventh, Norway is eighth, Israel is ninth, and New Zealand is tenth.
Among European countries, Germany ranks 14th, ahead of the United States, which ranks 16th. The United Arab Emirates is ranked 24th.
Kazakhstan took the 40th place, while among the CIS countries Uzbekistan occupies the 53rd place, Kyrgyzstan - the 64th place, then Belarus is on the 65th place, and Russia took the 80th place. Armenia ranked the 82nd, Tajikistan ranked the 83rd, Azerbaijan – the 92nd.
More than 9 million people took part in a large-scale survey. The last places in the list are occupied by: Zimbabwe, Lebanon, and Afghanistan completes the rating.
