Kyrgyzstan ranks first at Asian Greco-Roman (U-17) Wrestling Championships

Bishkek, June 21, 2022. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s Greco-Roman wrestling team (U-17) won the first place at the Asian Championships held in Bishkek.

The Greco-Roman, freestyle and women's wrestling competitions started on June 19 at the Bishkek Arena for athletes up to age 17 (U-17) and 23 (U23).

Greco-Roman wrestlers (U-17) competed for 10 sets of medals. The national team earned seven medals, including four gold, one silver and two bronze:

1st place – Zhantoro Mirzaliev (60 kg);
1st place – Kutman Temirbekov (65 kg);
1st place – Asan Dzhanyshov (80 kg);
1st place – Nurbolot Syrgabai uulu (92 kg);
2nd place – Kubanych Arinov (51 kg);
3rd place – Abdulahadkhodzha Abdullakhodzhaev (55 kg);
3rd place – Dzhomart Aralov (71 kg).
