Kyrgyzstan ranks first in bean production among Central Asian countries

Bishkek, Sept. 22, 2018. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan ranks first in production of beans among Central Asian countries, it was stated at the on-site meeting of the Ata-Meken faction in Talas oblast.

The issues of effective development of agricultural production and agricultural lending in the regions were discussed at the meeting.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Melioration Janybek Kerimaliev told that work on certification of beans was done for export purposes. Talas oblast has good experience in processing agricultural and dairy products, products.

On September 17, 2018, the area for growing beans was 57 138 hectares, the harvest yield was 98 thousand tons. In Talas oblast, 76% of the population is engaged in growing beans.
