Kyrgyzstan ratifies agreement on financial rules and protocol on contributions to budget of Turkic Academy

Bishkek, Nov. 11, 2021 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov signed the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the ratification of the Agreement on the financial rules of the Turkic Academy, signed on September 2, 2018 in Bishkek, and the Protocol on the scale of mandatory contributions of the member states to the budget of the Turkic Academy, signed on November 28, 2020 in Istanbul", the press service of the Kyrgyz president reported.

The purpose of this Law is to fulfill domestic procedures by ratifying the Agreement on the Financial Rules of the Turkic Academy, signed on September 2, 2018 in Bishkek, and the Protocol on the scale of mandatory contributions of the member states to the budget of the Turkic Academy, signed on November 28, 2020 Istanbul.

In accordance with this Agreement, funding sources, the procedure for the formation, implementation and accountability of the budget of the above Academy are determined for the preservation, study and promotion of the history of Turkic culture and heritage by supporting and financing events, projects and programs, assisting in solving scientific and technical issues and providing funds for the purpose of protecting, preserving, restoring and promoting Turkic culture and heritage.

Turkic Academy was founded in 2012 by Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey as an international organization under the aegis of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) with the aim of coordinating scientific researches on the language, literature, culture, history of Turkic people and evaluating the contribution of the Turkic civilization to the human civilization based on indigenous sources.
