Kyrgyzstan ratifies agreement with Russia on mutual opening of migration offices

Bishkek, May 19, 2018. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov signed the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On ratification of the Agreement between the Governments of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation on the mutual establishment of representative offices of competent authorities in the sphere of migration, signed on June 20, 2017 in the city of Moscow", the Kyrgyz President's press service reported.

The law was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh on April 5, 2018.

The main purpose of the Agreement is mutual opening by the governments of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation of the competent body in the field of migration.

The law comes into force from the date of its official publication.
