Kyrgyzstan ratifies protocol on amendments to Treaty on EAEU Customs Code

Bishkek, Jan. 6, 2020. /Kabar/. Acting President of Kyrgyzstan, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Talant Mamytov signed the law "On Ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Treaty on the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union of Apr. 11, 2017, signed on May 29, 2019 in Nur-Sultan."

According to the press service of the Kyrgyz president, the law was adopted by the Kyrgyz Parliament on Dec. 2, 2020.

The Protocol amends Article 321.2 of the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) which specifies a list of persons whose personal luggage is not subject to customs examination when crossing the customs border of the EAEU.

The Law enters into force 10 days after its official publication
