Bishkek, March 7 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan is ready to return to Russia $ 37 million invested in Upper Naryn Cascade of hydropower plants project after an audit, or after an investor is found, Chairman of the Board of National Energy Holding Company Aibek Kaliev told journalists on Tuesday.
He said that the Kyrgyz side does not intend to conduct the audit independently, and insists on an independent audit, which will be paid by both parties.
"We do not want the audit to be one-sided. We are interested in an objective independent audit," Kaliev said and added that the cost of an independent audit varies from 300 thousand US dollars to 1 million dollars.
