Bishkek, May 3, 2018. / Kabar /. In connection with the activation of online services and online stores in Kyrgyzstan, there is an increase in parcels coming from abroad. In particular, most parcels come from the Russian Federation, the People's Republic of China, the United States and Germany, the press service of the State Registration Service (SRS) of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
It is necessary to clarify that for 2017, the number of incoming shipments (small packages) from E-commerce amounted to 170,432 items, which is 60 thousand 131 more parcels than last year (110 301 items).
According to data of the State Enterprise "Kyrgyzpochtasy" under the GDS for 2017, the weight equivalent of the parcels is 78 tons, for 2016 - 61 tons.
Also in 2017, the SRS opened four pilot e-commerce centers, where everyone was free to learn how to process orders from the world's Internet sites.
The purpose of this project was to inform the public about the ability to quickly, reliably and safely acquire various goods through online stores without overpayment.
