In 2 weeks, 2.5 thsd oxygen concentrators arrived in Kyrgyzstan: deputy PM

Bishkek, July 16, 2020 /Kabar/. With funds, allocated from the republican budget and humanitarian aid, 2,500 oxygen concentrators have arrived in Kyrgyzstan in two weeks, Deputy Prime Minister of the country Aida Ismailova told a news briefing.

According to her data, the concentrators are distributed by regions depending on the need.

"Thus, Batken Oblast has 157 concentrators, Issyk-Kul Oblast - 402, Naryn Oblast - 99, Osh Oblast - 340, Talas Oblast - 75, Chui Oblast has 270 units, the cities of Bishkek and Osh 396 and 177, respectively,” she added.

"In the near future, the state will purchase not only concentrators, but also all the equipment that hospitals need," Ismailova said.
