Kyrgyzstan receives 1,000 tons of elite seeds from Kazakhstan

Bishkek, March 10, 2022. / Kabar /. An official handover ceremony of 1,000 tons of elite seeds of Karabalykskaya-20 spring wheat was held on Thursday, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The event was held within the framework of the agreements reached during the 9th Kyrgyz-Kazakh meeting of the Intergovernmental Council in the village of Kordai, Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan.

Seeds were distributed on the spot to the regions of the country.

The event was attended by Minister of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan Askarbek Dzhanybekov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan Rapil Zhoshybaev and Deputy Chairman of the State Material Reserves Fund under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic Rustam Karakulov.
