Kyrgyzstan receives fire trucks through ERIK project

Bishkek, Dec. 27, 2021. / Kabar /. The first batch of five fire trucks out of 58 vehicles has arrived in Kyrgyzstan under the Enhancing Resilience in Kyrgyzstan project (ERIK), funded by the World Bank.

The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said that, the delivery of special vehicles is planned to be carried out in three stages.

Fire trucks have tanks with a capacity of 6 tons, are equipped with modern fire-technical equipment, as well as special equipment and tools.

The purchased machines have high cross-country ability and are adapted to work in our climatic conditions.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations will continue to direct efforts to create conditions for effective response and prevention to emergencies, the press service said.
