Kyrgyzstan receives highest ICAO audit score

Bishkek, Dec.4, 2024. /Kabar/. This year Kyrgyzstan received 85.7 points in the audit of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), confirming compliance with international standards of safety and quality in civil aviation.

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) conducted an audit in Kyrgyzstan in the field of aviation safety and facilitation on Aug. 19-28, 2024, the press service of the Manas International Airport reported.

According to preliminary data, the level of fulfillment of critical elements (CE) of aviation security amounted to 85.76%, which is a significant improvement compared to the result of 2017, when this indicator was 81.43%.

Within the framework of preparation and exchange of experience, a meeting of representatives of Manas International Airport (MIA) OJSC and Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport took place.

Security Director of MIA OJSC Talgat Dzhaparov shared with Kazakhstani colleagues the knowledge and experience gained during the audit. Successful completion of the audit emphasizes the high professionalism of our specialists and readiness to share best practices, contributing to the development of aviation in the region. These joint efforts contribute to strengthening the reputation of Kyrgyzstan in the international aviation arena.
