Bishkek, Dec.3, 2024. /Kabar/. Two modern passenger motorboats from China have been delivered to Issyk-Kul - a historic event for the country's water transport. The last time a new vessel was launched at Issyk-Kul was in the 1980s.

The new motor ships are designed for 84 and 54 passengers. They are equipped with modern Mercury marine engines, which minimize emissions of harmful substances and are characterized by low fuel consumption. This makes them not only comfortable but also environmentally friendly.

“These vessels are an important step in the development of Issyk-Kul shipping company. Our motor vessels meet modern environmental and comfort requirements. We also plan to launch our own production of large vessels in Kyrgyzstan to promote this industry to a new level,” said Emilbek Rajapov, co-founder of Sky Ships LLC.

These vessels are still test samples. In the future, it is planned to launch regular routes that will connect the northern and southern shores of Issyk-Kul, including Cholpon-Ata - Ton trips.
