Kyrgyzstan records 318 new COVID-19 cases, 5 deaths

Bishkek, Dec. 14, 2020. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan recorded on Monday 318 new COVID-19 cases.

The new cases included 126 in the capital city Bishkek, 4 – in Osh city, 79 – in Chui Oblast, 6 - in Osh Oblast, 4 - in Talas Oblast, 12 - in Naryn Oblast, 46 - in Issyk-Kul Oblast, 25 - in Jalal-Abad Oblast and 16 - in Batken Oblast.

Thus, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Kyrgyzstan reached 77,674 since the first case was registered in the country on March 18.

The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that the country conducted 1,286 coronavirus tests over the past day.

Among the new cases 5 are medical workers, raising the total number of contracted medical workers to 4,039, including 3,770 recoveries.

258 patients have recovered over the past day, a total of 70,450 patients have recovered.

The pandemic has so far claimed the lives of 1,312 Kyrgyz people, including 5 in the past 24 hours.

Currently, 2,087 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals, while 2,951 are being treated at home.
